How VS3 Works
VS3 replaces centralized cloud storage with a distributed, on-premises architecture that gives enterprises real data ownership, built-in compliance and verifiable integrity.
Storage Architecture
VS3 stores encrypted data across Vautra's own on-premises server infrastructure. There is no AWS, no GCP, no Azure. Your data does not touch a third-party cloud layer at any point.
Data is distributed across multiple instances within your selected sovereignty region. During cross-instance replication, data remains encrypted end-to-end — plaintext is never exposed.
Encryption
VS3 uses a hierarchical key architecture. Every file gets a unique File Key, encrypted by a Project Key. You choose who holds the Project Key.

Encryption happens in your browser before the file is sent. Your Project Key never reaches Vautra's servers. We cannot decrypt your files.

Object proofs for every action are stored on Anryton, creating a tamper-proof verification layer that cannot be altered, even by Vautra.
